I am a recent graduate of Ball State University with my master’s degree in Digital Storytelling. I came into the program from the newspaper industry and seek to return to news after graduation. As a graduate student, I taught an entry-level news writing course for the Department of Telecommunications. My thesis project was a short-form documentary and my research focused on local news’ use of the Web and multimedia. I have experience in reporting, copy editing, producing, project management and Web development.
